Kids' Club
About
KIDS CLUB is the after school program for students from All day Pre K through 8th grade. We provide a healthy snack, supervised relaxation time, and supervised study hall for the students from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm.
This program is designed to be a safe place for children to go after school until their parents can pick them up. Even though it is a time of relaxed play, we still follow school rules. The school handbook is adhered to and enforced.
Kids’ Club Policies
Students
-
Children are expected to treat peers and staff with respect and to respect the safety, well-being, and property of others. Failure to do so could result in suspension or removal from the program.
-
Parents will be called for any significant bullying, disrespect, aggressive behavior, or accidents. Depending on the severity of the incident, administration may be contacted and informed.
-
If a child will not attend on the day(s) specified, the parent needs to contact the Kids’ Club director.
-
If a child has been checked out of school for any reason and not checked back into the school office, they are NOT allowed to return to the program that day (*Unless prior arrangements have been made).
-
Cell phones are only allowed to contact parents, after asking a staff member for permission. If cell phones are being used for anything other than contacting parents, the student(s) will be asked to hand over the phone. Phones will be given back to parents when they arrive to pick up their child. After the first offense, the phone will be taken to the office for the parent to pick up from school administration.
Parents
-
Parents are expected to follow the rules and policies of Christ the King Catholic School as listed in the Parent-Student Handbook.
-
Kids Club hours are from 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., the parent will be charged $5 for each minute late.
-
Drop-in days are not guaranteed; they are dependent on student/staff numbers. Drop-ins are for parents who have contacted the Kids’ Club Director ahead of time. Children that are not enrolled in the program may not attend unless previously approved by the director. There is a $25 drop-in fee per day/per child, due at the day of at pickup from Kids’ Club.
