All Races begin on Elmhurst, in front of CK School.

Click here  to view the certified 5K Route!

The 1 Mile Route begins in the same location as the 5K -- it runs east on Elmhurst, turns north at Stratford for two blocks, west onto Coventry, south onto Guilford, returning to the start by going west onto Elmhurst.

The Toddler Dash is run on the CK School playground field.

Are you Ready?

Zach Morton, CK parent and founder of Higher Ground Running in Oklahoma City, is donating his time and expertise to the CK Run - he has developed a training plan for our novice and veteran 5K runners.  He'll get your ready to run by the time the race starts on September 24th.  Training plans are free to all registrants and as follows.    HG Beginner Plan     HG Jogger Plan     HG Veteran Plan

If you're looking for some speed work, he's offering training sessions now at the Bishop McGuinness High School track on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. - join him and other CK runners!

Why a CK Run?

The CK Run is a celebration of CK Community – school, church and neighborhood: Christ the King School and Church (CK), and many of its students, families and parishioners, as well as many of their businesses, are physically located within this neighborhood. In recognition of these vibrant and close connections, Christ the King’s Parent-Teacher Organization strives to engage the entire CK community through events that bring those people together in a significant way.  This CK RUN is one of those efforts to engender long, meaningful relationships and pride in and among the CK community – church, school and the neighborhood. The CK RUN is more than a race -- it is a celebration of the community through the streets of which the race is run, the CK neighborhood of Nichols Hills.
